Day 8 of the Personal Growth Challenge

Happy Monday Strikers!

I haven't had the best timing on posting my blog entries but thanks for stopping by anyway! Before I talk about the challenge, I just wanted to remind you guys that I will be appearing in a podcast collab tomorrow but will keep you all posted on the when it's available for you all! Okay, let's get day 8 going!

Day 8: April 15th

Question: Do you get enough time away from electronic devices and social media?

Surprisingly, I do. Although my work is literally focused around being on a laptop and my phone, it gets a little tiresome. My mornings before actually starting work usually includes reading a book, journaling, cold showers, stretching and then I do use my phone for meditation and affirmations. Which reminds me, you all should try out the app "Simple Habit" for guided and unguided meditations. It's been my best friend ever since I found it! I'll attach the link below.

Simple Habit - Meditation App

But as I was saying, I do rely on technology for a lot of my daily tasks but I make sure I spend time with my loved ones, my dog Rambo and especially, going to the gym. My gym time is a must! The world continues to change and we do rely on social media to not only connect to family and friends but it creates jobs as well. I think that at the end of the day, it really just depends on what your priorities are.  As long as you're giving yourself at least an hour without technology and remembering to spend time with what is most important to you, that's all that matters.

Remember to live your life to the fullest and don't miss out on anything if you have control!

What about you all?
