Day 2 of the Personal Growth Challenge

Hey Strikers!

So I've been a little behind and playing catch up! Therefore, today there is going to be 3 blog entries!

Yesterday was Day 2 of the challenge, as always I'd love to read your perspective or the way you would answer these questions.

Day 2: April 9th

Question: "Is there anything within my power that would make me a more content or happier person?

This kind of hand in hand with my answer of Day 1, it has to do a lot with perspective. You have the power to control your reaction to a lot of things. Is it an everyday work in progress? Absolutely! But after a while, you learn to brush off all the negativity and nonsense that is projected or targeted to you. You can change the way you react to something that will have a positive outcome.

You have the power to change the people you surround yourself with. There's that saying " You are the average of the 5 people you hang around most." It's true if the people you hang with are people with a fixed mindset, don't believe they are deserving of a better life, not willing to find a way out of it and who don't appreciate your ambitions...I'm sorry but it will keep you where you are. I have a lot of people who are friends who didn't believe in my success and I created some distance because I wasn't going to allow them to set limitations on my success. I can talk to them from time to time but at the end of the day, No-one is going to do for me, like I will.

I have the power to wake up every day, meditate and write down what I'm grateful for. I have the power to work on myself to improve my life every day. The truth is I have ALL the power to be happy.

I hope this answered the question but again don't forget to watch it on my IGTV Channel @Patience_darling
As usual I can’t wait to hear what you all have to say!
