Hey Strikers!
It's 12:40 am and I'm finally having time to get this blog out for the challenge.
Am I the only one who always has a busy Sunday?
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the day and made the best of it! Tomorrow is a new week with so many opportunities, Let's get it! But before that, let me catch you all up with today's question!
Day 7: April 14th
Question: Are there any people around me that leave me feeling drained?
Personally, I believe that we will always encounter those who make you upset and what not. There may also be people we can't get away from. Family, certain friends, co-worker and more! Within the last year or so, I started to spend less time with friends and family that at the time weren't helping me achieve my goals. Thankfully for me, I do have friends who totally understand why I'm M.I.A. most of the time because I'm usually busy.
These are the best kind of friends to have because they don't get upset, they're understanding and we can always catch up and have no hard feelings. My family has evolved within the last year as well. I mean, maybe it's because I moved out of state but we've all been able to communicate more smoothly and build on our relationships. They have been very supportive and have even given me some amazing advice when it comes to being an entrepreneur.
It's crazy but I never even thought of my parents as entrepreneurs because the way society defines them is really successful people with empires. However, my parents are immigrants and can't get a job like myself so they basically have their own. I think that in limiting my time with those who want to party every weekend, has helped me so much to focus on my future. I'm only 24 years old and I'm not getting any younger. I want to take every opportunity I can to grow and secure my future.
So, My advice would be, limit time with people who don't have a similar mindset or are supportive. Build a network that will help you grow and inspire you to be better. So, to go back to the question, I suppose my answer is "No." unless I can count myself. I, just like anyone have my good day and my more difficult ones. I tend to overanalyze and get in my own way but this is where to have a positive crowd will benefit you.
What about you guys? Are you all being drained? Do you all have any advice on how to stop it?
