What does having a social media presence even mean?

Image result for social media

Social media presence means being active on social media channels. It matters when it comes to branding and building an audience.
This basically means to become relevant in the eyes of the public using the platforms created on the internet and where everyone currently has their attention available.    The world continues to evolve on a daily basis. Which means our technology will only become more advanced as well! Yes, postcards, pamphlets, flyers, and overall traditional marketing will continue to be around but it's no longer the focal point. I mean really, when was the last time you looked at a billboard and thought, "Oh gosh! I have to go there or call them now!"? Or the last time you even remember the product and offer on the billboard? The truth is that in today's age, people spend their time on their phones and yes,

even while driving.
So, If the attention is already why not invest your time into showing who you are and what you do and offer? It's like building a relationship with thousands of people at once! The best part is that there is always a group of people who will follow along with the journey of your brand and who most likely relate to it! Having a profile on these platforms is FREE! so why not take advantage of it? Why not build connections and influence a community? People need to socialize. Some of them like to meet in person and interact. While others enjoy using these platforms instead. Life, in general, is about the concept of survival of the fittest! So, what are you waiting for? Adapt before it's too late!  As always, If you have any questions, leave me a comment, subscribe or simply reach out! Keep an eye out for Sunday's post!
