Win & Learn

Happy Last Monday of the decade Strikers! Let me just start by saying that although it wasn't my most consistent year with trying to do a lot this year, I'm glad I listened to my friends and started this blog. With that being said let's get into the last topic of 2019.     So, as you can see from the quote on the left today's topic is mainly focused on perspective. If you train your mind to stop thinking you've lost something, someone or even an opportunity and instead thought of it as winning or learning then; you'll be able to handle and overcome anything.      When you win, things obviously play out in your favor and you're overjoyed most of the time.  Those by far the best feelings for sure.       However, what about when things don't go your way or as you planned?        For starters, understand that things don't and won't always go as planned. Life throws unexpected things at us and we have to "roll with the pu

Consistency is Key

Merry Monday, Strikers!         It's the day before Christmas Eve and I'm hoping you all are getting all the final gifts wrapped, and getting all your loved ones situated for the Christmas visits. It's that time of the year when we celebrate with others and embrace what is to come.        That being said something that should be top of mind as we are ending 2019 and the decade for that matter is Consistency. I'm sure you've all heard that phrase "Consistency is key"  and you've maybe, like myself,  rolled your eyes after hearing it a few times until you finally understand why people say it. So, why is consistency such a good thing right? Well, now that I'm a self- proclaimed "blogger", trying to be "YouTuber",  an entrepreneur and to top it all off, pursuing bodybuilding; it all literally makes sense. Now, I said it makes sense but I didn't say it's EASY. Let me share what this 25-year-old has learned so

How To Stop Living Your Life For Others

Welcome back, Strikers! I hope you all are getting ready for the holidays that are still to come and looking forward to some time with family and friends. Today's topic has been pretty heavy on my mind lately and I wanted to share it with you guys.  That being said I hope this turns out to be a good read for you all and gives you some perspective. I've recently been in a few conversations where people are constantly saying they "Can't" do something because of someone or because they've lost confidence and so on. You know, believe me when I say, I can relate to these other individuals to some degree in the sense where I may have these moments from time to time. However, I think we all forget that we only have one opportunity to make of it what we please. We get caught up in what everyone else wants for us so much so that we stop thinking about what we truly want to achieve. When I say the word "achieve" it can literally be as simple as fin

5 Misconceptions about the road of entrepreneurship

Hey Strikers!   I hope you all had an amazing holiday with loved ones and friends! Glad to have you back, so today I wanted to kind of touch base on a few things that I hear or have heard about entrepreneurship and then what I've learned in my journey.   Here goes,... 1.  ||   "Planning is a waste of time"    || Let's be honest here, yes, things don't always go as planned and life will always throw you curveballs but that's a generalization and it cant happen to all of us. Even if you're not an entrepreneur. However, just like everything else in life, there are a few basic key points of information we need to make decisions and move the needle forward.  So if you're thinking about starting a retail shop,  e-commerce or anything really you need some kind of guideline. It doesn't have to be detailed but it still needs some thought process, like what are you wanting to pursue, what is your target market and what is the problem you'r
